We are responsible for all the work
As a general contractor, we are responsible for providing all of the material, labor, equipment, and services necessary for the construction of the project. In order to get these tasks done, we hire more specialized sub-contractors to perform portions or all of the construction work.
Depending on the size of the project, responsibilities may include:
- Filing for building permits
- Securing the property
- Providing temporary utilities on-site
- Managing personnel on-site
- Providing site surveying and engineering
- Disposing/Recycling of construction waste
- Monitoring schedules and cash flows
- Maintaining accurate records as construction progresses.

General Construction Project Management is the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion aimed at meeting a client’s requirements in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality standards. Project management is the process by which a project is brought to a successful conclusion.

Let the construction begin…
With the construction documents complete, we send them out to our sub-contractors for bidding purposes. Over the years, we have developed varied and wide-ranging relationships with countless contractors in all fields. In addition, we are constantly seeking out new ones. This gives us a large pool of tradesmen to choose from, which allows us to select the best quality at the best price.
Once contracts are awarded, the building begins. During this phase, we welcome you to the job site to view the construction of your project. Asking questions is the best way for you to become informed about what exactly is going into your project.
On occasion, during construction, you may wish to make a change. Cathedral Homes of AZ doesn’t nickel & dime our clients. In most cases, minor changes can be done at no cost to you at all. In other cases, where additional material or an upgrade is involved, we strive to keep the cost at a minimum.
A lot of builders will “low ball” the cost of construction to get the job, then charge you for every little “extra” you may want. A client once asked us, after windows had been installed in their new home, “How much will it cost us to have screens for all the windows?” We were floored when they told us the builder of their last home said screens were extra. That won’t happen with Cathedral Homes of AZ. You will know exactly what you are getting and how much it will cost. No surprises.
